Recognize Us?

This little army of faces comes to us from couple Chad and Meghan Nelson of Alabama. They craft their toothy friends with love, naming each one and making each completely original.

Don't let the early morning getcha down! Coffee can be silly and energizing with a Nelson mug on your team. Come see us here at Rala, and FACE your day more preapred.

Carve It Up, Press It Out

Have you noticed anything new about our store lately?
That's right! We now sell Kevin Bradley original letterpress posters!
Kevin, formerly of letterpress extraordinaires, Yeehaw, has recently moved a lot of his work on over to us, and oh man, has it been fun to have!
From extra large prints to little bitty ones, you can find one that is the right size and the right amount of sassy.

Kevin has been making letterpress magic for decades now. This one is from his private collection of his own rare prints. Jump in here quick though, some are one-of-a-kind!

We have several different varieties of Kevin's original "Storetry" posters. I dare you to read them without chuckling.

We are so honored to carry Kevin's wares. Come check them out and take home a piece of Knoxville history!

Mike Ham, What a Man

It's that time of the month again: First Friday time! This month we're so excited to introduce Knoxvillian Mike Ham as our FF artist. We're especially excited because he hasn't shown work locally in over a year!

Mike Ham got his start in an art career later in life than most. Inspired by children's art, international travel, and his family, Mike began to paint using the easel he had inherited from his father.  Today, he creates canvases that are colorful, soulful, and mysterious.

Mike's following continues to grow, including paintings shown in collections all around the country. Come celebrate Mike's return to the Knoxville art scene and see his latest work. The reception will be from 6pm-10pm Friday Sept 7, 2012.
Happy art-ing!
